National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is one of the most prestigious national level talent search and scholarship program. Its objective is to identify talent and skills in students and nurture them. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) administers this exam to students in the 10th grade.

The examination is conducted every year in 2 levels – Stage 1 (State/UT level) and Stage 2 (at National level). It is a paper-pen based exam (Offline mode).

Every year around 1,200,000 to 1,400,000 students of class 10th appear for this exam across the country.
