How to calculate the percentage of marks

To calculate the CGPA of the CBSE 12th result in 2025, follow the instructions below:

  • The grade points for each topic are added.
  • Divide that number by the overall number of subjects.
  • For instance, if your grade points are 7, 8, 9, 7, and 10, your overall CGPA is (7+8+9+7+10)/5, which equals 8.2.
  • Calculating the overall percentage: CGPA multiplied by 9.5

For instance, if your class 12 result for the CBSE 2025 exam shows that your CGPA is 8.2, the overall percentage is 8.2*9.5, or 77.9 percent.
