- JEE Main replaced the UPSEE exam for admissions to AKTU (A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University), adding up to the number of registrations.
- 200 Technical institutes from UP are taking its admissions through JEE Main 2021.
- More than 10 languages have been added to JEE Main 2021 exam for the students. This increased the number of state students opting to attempt JEE Main 2021.
- Nearly 2.2 lakh candidates appeared from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.
- A total of 149621 candidates have opted to appear for the exam in Indian languages. Nearly half of this value has opted for Hindi Languages.
- A total of 44094 and 24841 candidates will appear in Gujarati and Bengali Languages respectively.
- JEE Main’s first cycle of exams will be held in February and nearly 6.6 lakh students registered for it.
