CBSE Class 10 Board 2024 Results Declared – 93.60% of Students Passed

On Monday, CBSE announced the Class 10 results on its official website – cbseresults.nic.in. Overall, 93.60% of students passed which is a slightly better performance than the last year’s 93.12%. Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing region for Class 10 exam results as well with a pass percentage of 99.91. In Class 12 Trivandrum topped with a pass percentage of 99.04. Trivandrum is followed by Vijayawada with 99.60%. Other regions with high pass percentages include Chennai – 99.30, Bengaluru – 99.26, and Ajmer – 97.10. This year, up to 35 lakh children registered for the Class 10 and 12 board exams.

Latest – CBSE Class 12 Board 2024 Results Declared – 24,000 candidates scored above 95%

Overall, 22,38,827 students appeared for CBSE Class 10 exams of which 20,95,467 passed. Apart from CBSE Class 12 Results, girls outdid boys in CBSE Class 10 Results as well with a pass percentage of 94.75. The pass percentage of boys stood at 92.71. Talking about Delhi, out of 3,16, 535 appearing students, overall, 2,98, 649 students passed with a passing percentage of 94.35%. Apart from this, 8,198 children with special needs (CWSN) appeared for class 10 board exams of which 7,661 students passed with a passing percentage of 93.45.

Earlier on May 11, CBSE announced the schedule for marks verification, re-valuation, and scanned copies of answer sheets for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2024. According to the circular released by the CBSE, those candidates who are not satisfied with their results can apply for marks verification, re-valuation, and scanned copies of answer sheets within a given schedule, and no request after the last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the Board as that would breach important examination safety protocol.

From the fourth day after the announcement of the results, a candidate can apply for the marks verification, as per the CBSE circular. Students can avail of this facility till the eighth day of the result’s announcement.

From the 24th day of the announcement of the result, students can apply for the re-evaluation of answer sheets. The facility will be available for just two days. Talking about the board exams schedule this year, Class 12 board exams were held between February 12 and April 2, while Class 10 board exams began on February 12 and ended on March 13. Depending on the subject, the exams were conducted in single shifts spanning 2-3 hours.

How to check CBSE Class 10 Result 2024?

  1. Visit cbseresults.nic.in, the official website to view the CBSE Board results.
  2. Click the “CBSE Class 10 result 2024” link on the homepage.
  3. Now, the screens will display the login page for the results.
  4. Enter your roll number, school, centre number, and admit card.
  5. Click the submit button now.
  6. The display will now show the CBSE Board Class 10 result for 2024.
  7. Examine every detail carefully, then save the result for future use.

You can also visit the UMANG application to monitor the official websites, DigiLocker, and the CBSE results in 2024. Since it’s possible that the websites are overcrowded right now as the results are announced just now, candidates can verify their scores through this application. The UMANG app is available for download from both the iOS Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

  • Through the mobile applications DigiLocker and UMANG, CBSE offers digital mark sheets.
  • Students receive their login information through SMS to the registered mobile number on file.
  • Students can check in to any of the aforementioned programs to access their CBSE board 10th result 2024.

 

How to calculate the percentage of marks

To calculate the CGPA of the CBSE 12th result in 2023, follow the instructions below:

  • The grade points for each topic are added.
  • Divide that now by the overall number of subjects.
  • For instance, if your grade points are 7, 8, 9, 7, and 10, your overall CGPA is (7+8+9+7+10)/5, which equals 8.2.

Calculating the overall percentage: CGPA multiplied by 9.

For instance, if your class 12 result for the CBSE 2023 exam shows that your CGPA is 8.2, the overall percentage is 8.2*9.5, or 77.9 percent.
