CBSE Class 10 Board Result 2025 Declared: Key Highlights, Pass Percentage, and Next Steps

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released Class 10 Board Examination Results on May 13, 2025, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation for students and their parents. The Class 10 exams were held in February and March 2025, and 21 lakh students appeared in multiple centres. The year 2025 saw a slightly better performance across the board, with the national pass percentage amounting to 93.66%, a marginal increase from 93.60% in 2024. The results have been made available online through multiple platforms to ensure ease of access, including the official CBSE websites and DigiLocker.

 How to Check CBSE Class 10 Results 2025

You can check your result through any of the following platforms:

  1. CBSE Official Website
  • Visit: https://cbseresults.nic.in or https://cbse.gov.in
  • Enter the following:
    • Roll Number
    • School Number
    • Admit Card ID
  • Click on “Submit” and view/download your marksheet.

  1. Visit https://cbseresults.nic.in/
  2. Enter credentials as required.
  3. Submit the information.
  4. View, download, and print your digital marksheet.

How to calculate the percentage of marks

To calculate the CGPA of the CBSE 10th result in 2025, follow the instructions below:

  • The grade points for each topic are added.
  • Divide that now by the overall number of subjects.
  • For instance, if your grade points are 7, 8, 9, 7, and 10, your overall CGPA is (7+8+9+7+10)/5, which equals 8.2.

CGPA to Percentage Conversion.

To calculate the overall percentage,  multiply CGPA by 9.5.

For instance, if your class 10 result for the CBSE 2025 exam shows that your CGPA is 8.2, the overall percentage is 8.2*9.5 = 77.9 percent.


After the Result: What Next?

  1. Re-evaluation / Verification
  • If you believe your marks don’t reflect your performance, CBSE allows you to apply for re-evaluation or marks verification.
  • Dates and procedure will be announced on the CBSE website.

    • Science (PCM/PCB)
