NTA NEET 2021 – All Major Updates To End Puzzlement

Every year NEET exam is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), which is the single gateway to fill 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH and 525 veterinary seats all across the country.  This year NTA postponed NEET 2020 exam due to Covid19 pandemic, and later conducted it on September 2020. This led to delay in complete schedule of NEET 2020.

Apart from this, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) also reduced its class XI and XII syllabus to complete it on time. All of these changes raised the speculations about NEET 2021 reduced syllabus. The changes and postponements created a state of confusion and stress about NTA NEET 2021 in students. There are various doubts among students about NTA NEET 2021 Application Form Release dates, NEET 2021 Reduced Syllabus, NEET 2021 Exam dates, NEET 2021 Exam Pattern and many other queries.

To clarify all the air about NEET 2021, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ interacted with students on 10th Dec 2020.  And, hinted that soon NEET 2021 forms will be released on the official website.

Here, we are with all the updates about NEET 2021, released till now.

  1. No Plans to cancel NEET 2021 Exam – To end the speculations about NEET 2021 conduction, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that there is no plan to cancel NEET 2021. He said it will be a great loss for students, if they cancel NTA NEET 2021.
  2. NTA is considering Online NEET 2021 exam this year –You can expect an online NTA NEET Exam 2021 as indicated by the ministry. Education minister said “We’ve conducted NEET in offline mode till now…but we will take it into consideration if students want online NEET exam. If this is the case then NEET aspirants have to prepare for both Offline and Online mode of NEET 2021. For Online preparation you can check MTG NEET Online Test Series for enhancing your performance.
  3. Discussions are going on about reduction in CBSE syllabus and framing questions according to it – On reduction of syllabus Education Minister, Mr Pokhriyal said, “We are discussing this constantly. And we are trying how many questions can be framed in what way that whatever syllabus reduction has happened”. Whether the syllabus get reduced or not, NEET aspirants have to be ready with their preparation with Right Study Materials to ace the NEET 2021 exams.
  4. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the detailed notification, registration schedule, NEET 2021 admit card and result on the official website, www.ntaneet.nic.in.

All NEET aspirants are expecting some sign of relief from NTA with details about NEET 2021. But, the dates of NEET 2021 are highly dependent on CBSE Board exams and as per the latest information given by Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE’s Controller of Examinations; they have NO plans to delay the 2021 CBSE board exams. NEET 2021 cannot be postponed to be very late, because then it will conflict with NMC guidelines on MBBS admissions.

Amid this entire COVID19 pandemic situation NEET aspirants should have to stay prepared and ready for exams. We know, all the students are very anxious about it, but it is the time when NEET aspirants have to stay relaxed and keep studying.
