Every year NEET exam is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), which is the single gateway to fill 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH and 525 veterinary seats all across the country. This year NTA postponed NEET 2020 exam due to Covid19 pandemic, and later conducted it on September 2020. This led to delay in complete schedule of NEET 2020.
Apart from this, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) also reduced its class XI and XII syllabus to complete it on time. All of these changes raised the speculations about NEET 2021 reduced syllabus. The changes and postponements created a state of confusion and stress about NTA NEET 2021 in students. - No Plans to cancel NEET 2021 Exam – To end the speculations about NEET 2021 conduction, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that there is no plan to cancel NEET 2021. He said it will be a great loss for students, if they cancel NTA NEET 2021.
- NTA is considering Online NEET 2021 exam this year –You can expect an online NTA NEET Exam 2021 as indicated by the ministry. Education minister said “We’ve conducted NEET in offline mode till now…but we will take it into consideration if students want online NEET exam. - Discussions are going on about reduction in CBSE syllabus and framing questions according to it – On reduction of syllabus Education Minister, Mr Pokhriyal said, “We are discussing this constantly. And we are trying how many questions can be framed in what way that whatever syllabus reduction has happened”. - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the detailed notification, registration schedule, NEET 2021 admit card and result on the official website, www.ntaneet.nic.in.
