UPSC NDA 2021 Notification (OUT!!) – Examination Date, Eligibility, Pay Scale & Exam Pattern

The Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for National Defense Academy & Naval Academic Examination (I) 2021 on its official website. Check UPSC NDA Important Dates, Application Process, Eligibility, Pay Scale, Exam pattern.

UPSE released the notification for admission in Army, Naval and Air Force Wings of NDA for the 147th Course, and for the 109th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2022. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 19 January 2021 and the online Applications can be withdrawn from 27 January 2021 to 02 February 2021 till 6:00 pm.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA 2021

Educational Qualification:

  • For Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education can also apply for this examination.

UPSC NDA Age Limit: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2005 are eligible.

UPSC NDA Physical Standard: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2021.

*Note:ย  A candidate who has resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of Armed Forces is not eligible to apply. *

Nationality: A candidate must be unmarried male and must be:

  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject of Nepal, or
  • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from – Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

ย Application Fees and Payscale:

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs- 100/- (No fees for SC/ST category).
