SSC CGL 2021 Application Form Out – Important Dates, Eligibility, Exam Pattern!!!

SSC CGL is a hot cake in the category of administrative jobs in India.ย  This year the Staff Selection Commission has announced 6506 vacancies in various Minitrial/Departments/Organizations for which they released the SSC SGL Exam 2020-2021 notification. On an annual basis, nearly 30 lakh candidates fill the SSC CGL application form and 15 lakh aspirants appear for the exam.

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam in four tiers. The first two tiers are conducted in online mode and the rest two in offline mode. To know the complete details like Important dates, Eligibility, Application form, Vacancies and Exam pattern candidates can check the article.

The last date for submitting SSC CGL Fee through online mode is February 02, 2021.

Application Fees

Fee Payable- Rs.100/-

Women and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2020-21

  • Educational Qualification:
  1. Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer-
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in any discipline.
  • Desirable qualification โ€“ Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
  1. Junior Statistical Officer-
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in any subject with minimum 60% marks in Maths at 12th class.
  • OR, Bachelorโ€™s degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects.
  1. Other Posts โ€“
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in any subject.
  • Nationality/ Citizenship: The candidate must be either a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin, subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.
  • Age Limit: A candidate should be between 18 & 32 years in age.

The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III Examination are as follow:

UR: 30%

OBC/EWS: 25%

Others: 20%
