Indian Navy released an official notification for the post of Sailor under AA (Artificer Apprentice) and SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit) over 2500 Vacant positions. Check details like Educational Qualification, Selection Process, Exam Pattern, age limit, salary etc in this article.
The candidates who are interested in applying for the job will be able to register their name from 26 April 2020 to 30 April 2020 on the official website i.e. www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
Total 2500 vacancies are open in which 2000 are for SSR and 500 for AA in August 2021 Batch. The Applications for Sailor’s entry is likely to be open from 26 April 2021 to 05 May 2021. Male Aspirants seeking to apply for the Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2021 and Indian Navy AA Recruitment 2021 should be 12th passed.

Educational Qualification
Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR): Class 12th pass with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD.
Artificer Apprentice (AA): Class 12th passed with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects – Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD .
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 01 Feb 2001 to 31 Jul 2004 (Both dates inclusive).

Indian Navy SSR AA Salary Details
In training period: Stipend of Rs.14,600/- per month, after successful completion of initial training it will be placed in the 3rd Level of the Defense Pay Matrix (Rs.21,700-69,100).
(MSP Rs. 5200/-per month + DA + “X” Group pay (AA) Rs.  6200/-per month + DA)
Exam Patter – Indian Navy SSR AA
The paper will be provided in both Hindi & English language. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
