Question Paper Analysis for Science Board Exam, CBSE Class 10th Term 2

CBSE class 10 term 2 science exam analysis

Today, on 10th May 2022, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., the class-10th term-2 Board Exam for Science was completed. The exam was conducted in a subjective mode, following all the CBSE standards and Pandemic protocols. The duration was of 2 hours. The following are some key points from the paper:

  • The paper was divided into three sections, with each area addressing a different type of question, such as assertion-reason, case-based questions, fill in the blanks, match the followings, and so on.
  • The paper received a maximum score of 40.
  • The questions followed the format of the CBSE-provided Sample paper.
  • The questions in section A had seven questions covering 2 marks each, Section B had 6 questions for 3 marks each, and Section C had 2 (case-based) questions covering 4 marks each.

At and inside the exam locations, all of the Covid-19 criteria and protocols were followed. Students were instructed to attend half an hour before the exam, at 10 a.m., with admit cards, face masks, sanitizers, stationery, and water bottles. According to a poll we conducted on our Twitter page shortly after the science paper was completed, 34% percent of students said they found the science exam to be โ€œeasyโ€ and 36% of the other students voted for the exam to be โ€œmoderateโ€ in difficulty. However, 30% of students voted for the science exam to be โ€œtoughโ€ indicating that things were not in their favor today. Let’s have a look at what students & teachers thought about the exam now.

According to students who took the exam, the question paper was simple and the questions were from the syllabus. “The exam was easier than expected and included allย the syllabus,” saidย a Sharda Sarvhitkari student. Another student from the same school said “I completed my exam 30 minutes before the time was up so it went well for me.”

Class 10 Science examย was easy and nicely split, according to CBSE students in Chandigarh.

“The exam went well,” a student from The British School in Chandigarh remarked. “the question paper was divided set-wise, one of the sets was a little difficult.” Another Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Senior Secondary School student in Sector 40 found the paper simple to complete.

Most children found the question paper straightforward and did well, according to a science teacher at MPVM Ganga Gurukulam school in Phaphamau in Prayagraj. โ€œThe questions asked were not too hard in any of the three sections of the question paper. Any student who had studied as per the syllabus would have done well in it,โ€ย she continued.

CBSE will hold its next major subject exam for โ€œElements for Businessโ€ on May 13th, 2022 & โ€œSocial Scienceโ€ on May 14th, 2022.
