NCERT class 6 science chapter 1 โ€“ โ€œComponents of Foodโ€ covers the different nutrients found in food, their functions, the importance of a balanced diet, and the prevention of deficiency diseases. Earlier before 2023 “Components of Food” chapter was chapter 2, and “Food: Where Does it Come From?” was chapter 1, after NCERT deleted the class 6 science syllabus for the 2023-24 session, they removed “Food: Where Does it Come From?” chapter and then “Components of food” became chapter 1. In this blog, For the 2024-25 session, you will be able to practice various multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which are divided into Objective, Case-Based, and Subjective questions to prepare for the CBSE Class 6 Board Exams.
