CBSE Class 10 Science 2019 – Paper Analysis & Review

Class 10 Science board exam was successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today i.e., 13th March 2019. This was the second most important paper for class 10 students after Maths. Over 16.38 lakh students appeared for this Science paper today. The exam was started at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. The examination was conducted smoothly by CBSE without any interruption.

Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme

CBSE Class 10 Science paper consisted of five sections viz. A, B, C, D and E which contained 27 questions of total 80 marks.

Scheme of Choices:

All sections were compulsory, and students needed to attempt all the sections There was no overall choice. However, internal choices were provided for some questions in Sections B, C, D and E. Students were required to attempt only one of the choices in such questions.

Feedback of the students

After the Maths paper, CBSE Science paper again comes as a relief for class 10 students. Most of the students who appeared for the exam were found satisfied with the exam paper. Check out the few points from the feedback of the students.

  • The paper was easy in in both length and difficulty.
  • The paper was straight from NCERT book.
  • The paper was easier than last year.
  • Practical section was a bit tough in the whole paper.
  • Questions based on numerical was easy.
  • Many questions were almost similar to those asked in previous years.
  • All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest CBSE 10th Science syllabus.
