The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the exams for class-10th Mathematics standard & basic papers on 4th December 2021.
The CBSE Class 10th Term- 1 math exam was held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm following all the CBSE guidelines and pandemic protocols. Students had to reach their respective exam centres at 11:00 am.
The exam was held for Mathematics Standard (Subject code 041) and Mathematics Basic (Subject code 241). Thus, below you will find a cumulative analysis by students and teachers about the exam.
The CBSE Class 10th term one math exam had three sections in which the students had to attempt 16 questions each in both section A and section B, whereas, in section c, students had to try 8 questions.
The questions carried a total weightage of 40 marks with no provision of negative marking.

According to the students who took the exam for Standard mathematics, the exam was between moderate and tough because of the lengthy calculations. The exam was quite lengthy to be solved in 90 minutes. However, the Students who took the exam for Mathematics Basic says that the paper was between moderate and easy.
Some teachers accepted the fact that paper was quite tricky for Mathematics Standard but the others experts countered that the exam paper was as expected. “The exam was hard to score 100% marks but it was not too hard to score a good score”, said the teacher.
