CBSE Class 12 Maths 2019 – Paper Analysis & Review

Class 12 Mathematics board exam was successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today i.e., 18th March 2019. The exam started at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. The examination was conducted smoothly by CBSE without any hassles.

Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme

CBSE Class 12 Maths paper consisted of four sections viz. A, B, C and D which contained 29 questions of total 100 marks that had to be solved within 3 hours of time duration. Section wise detailed pattern of questions are given below:

Scheme of Choices:

All sections were compulsory, and students needed to attempt all the sections. There was no overall choice in the question paper however internal choices were present in some questions. Besides general instructions, separate instructions were provided in some sections and questions.

Feedback of the students

CBSE Class 12 Maths Board Exam concluded with a sigh of relief for students this year. Most of the students who appeared for the exam were found satisfied with the paper. Check out the few points from the feedback of the students:

  • The paper was easy in in both length and difficulty.
  • The paper was easier than last year.
  • Section C was a bit time consuming and tricky.
  • There was not a single question from ‘Application to Derivatives’ chapter.
  • Many questions were almost similar to those asked in previous years.
  • The paper was straight from NCERT book.
  • All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest CBSE 12th Mathematics syllabus.
