CBSE Class 12 Result 2019 Declared – 83.4 % Pass the Exam!

Finally! The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has declared the Class 12th Result 2019 today i.e., 2nd May, 2019 for all regions. All the candidates who had appeared in the exam, can check their result on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. The Result is available for all the streams – Science, Arts and Commerce.

How to Check CBSE Class 12 Result 2019

Here’s how you can check your result for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2019:

  • Visit the official website of CBSE, nic.in or cbse.nic.in
  • Click on the link “Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2019- Announced on 2nd May 2019”
  • Once the link opens, enter your details like name and roll number
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • Download the result and keep a printout for future reference
This year, a total of 31,14,831 candidates were registered out of which 12, 87, 359 candidates had appeared for Class 12 Board exam. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora have scored 499 out of 500 and emerged as CBSE topper. Shukla is a student of Delhi Public School, Meerut Road (UP) and Karishma Arora is a student of SD Public School Muzaffarnagar (UP).
The overall pass percentage for CBSE class 12th this time is 83.4% which is increased by 0.1% as compared to last year. The region with the highest pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram at 98.2%, followed by Chennai at 92.93% and Delhi at 91.87%. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is 95.43%.

Girls overall pass percentage– 88.70%

Boys overall pass percentage– 79.4%

1st Rank– Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora- 499/500 marks

2nd Rank – Gaurangi Chawla, Aishwarya and Bhavya – 498/500

Top regions

Trivandrum- 98.2%

Chennai- 92.93%

Delhi– 91.87%

Foreign Schools– 95.4%


Note: After checking the result students will also be able to download their Result scorecard offline in PDF format. The students are requested to take a printout of their result scorecard and use it till the final mark sheet is released.
