The CBSE board exam for major subjects for class 10th and 12th are in progress. The CBSE Term 1 Mathematics (Subject code-041) exam for class 12 was held today (06 Dec 2021) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
As the exam concludes, many students and experts have shared their views related to the question paper. Students shared mixed reactions from easy to moderate over the difficulty level of the exam. Many of them said that the paper was lengthy. Let us have a detailed view of the Class 12th Mathematics paper.
Class 12th Mathematics (041): Exam Paper Review
Many students conclude that the math’s exam paper was a bit lengthy and moderately difficult. It constitutes many tricky questions. Questions are based on NCERT Textbooks and NCERT Exemplar Books.
The question paper was based on the CBSE Class 12 Math’s Syllabus for Term 1 and the exam structure was similar to the recent CBSE sample paper. The question paper comprised of 3 sections as below-
- Section A: 20 MCQs (16 to be attempted)
- Section B: 20 MCQs (16 to be attempted)
- Section C: 10 MCQ (08 to be attempted)
This makes a total of 50 questions out of which 40 questions were to be attempted with no provision of negative marking.
Experts agreed to the fact the paper is tricky and shared that an average student can easily score in between 25-30 marks out of 40.
