In terms of campus placements, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee ranks alongside the other IITs. On the first day, an institute student received an annual package of 2.15 crores. This package is by far the most generous among the institute’s students. No student has yet received the 2.15 crore package. Previously, the institute’s students received a package worth up to 1.5 crores, which is also amazing by the way. Aside from that, three students received domestic packages ranging from 1.30 crores to 1.8 crores on the first day of campus placement. While 11 students have received annual packages worth more than one crore. Overall, it’s needless to say that all IITians have gotten really great packages and with that, they must feel that their hard work was worth it after all.
On the first day of campus placements, 35 companies attended IIT Roorkee. The institute’s students had received 450 offers, including 13 international offers. This year’s placement at IIT Roorkee has been much better than the previous year, and the number of children who got jobs in companies through the placement drive was higher last year, so students are also very excited. In comparison to last year, IIT Roorkee has seen an increase of 80% in domestic offers and 40% in international offers in campus placements this year.
What do we understand from this? That if you really are an IIT Aspirant then all it takes is major hard work to get into IIT and the rest will follow. Year after year, better and more opportunities are presenting themselves at IIT institutions. However, with that more competition follows!
So, how are you planning to make sure that you don’t fall behind in this race and are guaranteed a safe seat in an IIT institute? By making sure that you leave no stone unturned and giving it your best shot by working hard. Your hard work is directly proportional to your chances of entering IIT and getting a salary package just like this. Here’s how you can make sure to embark upon a great IIT journey.
