JEE Main 2020 Application Correction Facility Started – Know the Process Here!

Have you entered the wrong details while applying for JEE Main 2020? Well, don’t worry! The application form correction process for JEE Main 2020 has been activated on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates who wish to make necessary changes in their online application form can do it by October 20, 2019. Thereafter, no corrections in any particulars will be provided under any circumstances.  Previously, the correction facility dates were October 11 to 17, however, it was postponed due to extension of last date for submission of JEE Main 2020 application form

What can be corrected in JEE Main 2020 Application Form?

  • You can change the choice of paper from Paper I to Paper II (and vice versa) or opt for both papers.
  • You can change the spellings in your Personal Details.
  • You can edit the information related your academics.
  • Medium of examination can be changed from English to Hindi/Gujarati.
  • Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth can also be changed.
  • The provision of changing categories are also provided to the candidates.

Aspirants must note that you will have to pay the additional fee if applicable while making the correction for JEE Main 2020. The additional fee (if applicable) should be paid by the candidates through Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking, UPI and PAYTM only.

It should also be noted that NTA has announced some major changes in the exam pattern for JEE Main 2020. The number of questions, marking scheme and total marks has been revised this time. You must check on it and prepare accordingly. Click here to know all in detail.

How to correct mistakes in JEE Main 2020 Application form?

Here are some steps to make JEE MAIN 2020 online corrections:

Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Login for correction in application form”
Step 3: Click on the link and login to your account by entering your reference number and password
Step 4: Carefully make the required changes and hit submit
Step 5: Take a print out once you’ve submitted the corrected form for future references.

The National Testing Agency, NTA has already announced the exam dates and schedule for JEE Main 2020. The first slot for JEE Main is in January 2020 (6th to 11th). You have hardly 3 months left for the first slot of NTA conducted JEE Main exam. It’s time to speed up your preparation!
