JKCET 2021: Registration(Extended), Exam Date, Exam Pattern

The Last date for JKCET application submission 2021 has been extended to 10th of May 2021. The conducting body of JKCET is Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Exam. A state level entrance exam conducted every year through which candidates get admission in B. Tech and B. E courses etc. Check details of JKCET 2021 entrance exam here in this article.

Important Exam Dates

The Exam date is yet to announce by the JKBOPEE wherever the application has been released.

Eligibility Criteria JKCET 2021

Nationality: the applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: The candidates should be 17 years old, there is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed 10 and 12 from a recognized board.

Marks Criteria: The applicant must secure 50% in their qualifying exam (45% for reserved category candidates).

Subjects: Applicants must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in their Qualifying Exam.

Applicants can check the steps and the list of documents required during the application process:

  1. The Application form is available on the official website – https://jkbopee.gov.in/
  2. Provide details like Education, Personal and Communication Skills etc.
  3. Upload documents like Passport size Photograph, signature of the candidate, thumb impression in the prescribed format.
  4. The size of the Image should be in JPG/JPEG.
  5. The last date to submit the application form is 10th of May 2021.

Application Fee:

Application Fee will be paid through online mode โ€“ Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.

Exam Pattern โ€“ JKCET 2021

Exam Duration: 3 Hours

Mode of Exam: Online

Type of Questions: Objective Type Questions

Total no. of Questions: 180 Questions

Number of sections in exam: 3 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Maximum Marks: 180 Marks

Marking Scheme: Every correct answer. -1 mark, for each wrong and. โ€“ 0.25 deducted.

Subject-wise Distribution of marks and questions-

Candidates who have completed their syllabus can now practice with MTG 16 Years J&K CET Chapter-wise Solutions โ€“ Mathematics. This book contains a collection of previous 23 years’ questions asked in J&K CET Physics and Chemistry papers in a chapter-wise format.
