JNVST 2025 Exam dates: Class 6, 9 and 10
Class 6
Going by the official notification, the JNVST 2025 for Class 6 will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will take place on Jan 18, 2025 at 11:30 am, and the second phase will take place on April 12, 2025 at 11:30 am. The JNVST for Class 6 is a two-hour test comprising 80 objective-type questions, equalling 100 marks, across three sections.
Class 9
On the other hand, the JNVST for Class 9 is a 2.5-hour test comprising 100 questions equalling 100 marks, across four subjects: Mathematics, General Science, English, and Hindi. The exam is conducted in English, Hindi, and many regional languages. The JNVST for Class 9 will take place on Feb 8, 2025.
Class 11
Admission to Class 11 of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya takes place through a lateral entry test called the (Lateral Entry Selection Test). For the 2025-2026 session, the test for admission to class 11 is scheduled to take place on Feb 8, 2025. The 2.5-hour test comprising 100 questions includes 20 questions each from 5 subjects – Mental Ability, English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
