NEET Counselling 2019 Schedule Released – Here’s all you need to know!

The National Testing Agency has declared the NEET Result 2019 on June 5, 2019. Congratulation again to all NEET 2019 qualifiers! Now is the time for qualifiers to know all about the next step i.e., NEET counselling 2019 for admission to top medical colleges in India. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET Counselling 2019 schedule for MBBS and BDS seats. The counselling for NEET 2019 will be done to fill the 15% All India Quota Seats. The remaining 85% seats will be filled by NEET State Counselling 2019.

There will be two rounds of Counselling, Round 1 and 2. The registration for first round counseling will begin on June 19 and end on June 24, 2019. The result of NEET 2019 First Round Counselling will be released on June 27, 2019. While the registration for second round counseling will begin on July 6 and end on July 9, 2019. The result of NEET Second Round Counselling Result will be released on July 12, 2019.

After NEET Counselling 2019, remaining vacant seats will be transferred to the deemed universities for final mop- up round for NEET UG 2019.

Who are eligible for NEET 2019 Counselling?

Students who make it to the NEET 2019 cut-off list (minimum merit) are considered eligible to register for the counselling. Take a look at the cut-off of NEET 2019.

NEET 2019 Counselling Procedure

The NEET counselling 2019 procedure will include the following processes:

  1. Registration:

First of all, candidates have to do the registration by login to the official website, www.mcc.nic.in. On completing the registration process, a unique User ID & Password will be generated and sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and mobile number. With the help of generated user ID and password, candidate will be able to proceed for further process.

  1. Fee Payment

After filling the registration form, candidates will be asked to pay the registration fee in online mode. Candidates will have to pay two kinds of fee non-refundable and refundable registration fees. They can use debit card/ credit card/ net banking etc., for the payment of the fee.

  1. Submission of Choice & Locking

In this step candidates have to fill the choices of course and colleges according their preferences. After this, candidates have to click on ‘Save’ button to lock their filled choices. Without saving the filled choices, the choices are not be considered as locked choices. So, candidates are advised not to forget to lock the preferences.

  1. Seat allotment result:

Within a few days of the choice locking, the seat allotment result will be declared by the authority. The seats will be allotted as per the preferences made by the candidates in choice locking process. Candidates will receive an SMS or email regarding allotment of course & college.

  1. Report to the allotted college:

After the seats are allotted to the candidates, they will have to report to the allotted college within the time limit to confirm their seat. In case a candidate fails to reach the allotted colleges within given time period, then their seat will automatically be transferred to the next candidate.

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Rank Letter
  • Class 10 or 12 certificate and marksheet
  • ID Proof
  • 8 passport sized photographs (Same as the one affixed on the application form)
  • Provisional Allotment letter generated online
  • Domicile Proof (only for state quota seats)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

Who Can Apply for NEET Second Round Counselling 2019?

Following candidates will be eligible for NEET 2019 Second Round Counselling:

  • Candidates who registered themselves for NEET counselling but did not get allotted any seats in the first round
  • Registered candidates from the reserved category, whose admission got cancelled due to change of category. They will be considered for counselling under the new category.
  • Candidates who chose to participate in the second round of counselling at the time of reporting at the allotted college/university after the first round of counselling.
