NEET Odisha Exam rescheduled on May 20th – Postponed due to cyclone

Attention to all cyclone affected 2019 NEET Odisha aspirants! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification confirming the new exam date for NEET 2019 exam for Odisha candidates. NEET Odisha exam will now be conducted on May 20th from 10.00 am to 1.00 am. The exam was initially scheduled to be held on 5 May in Odisha but was postponed for candidates having their examination centre in Odisha owing to cyclone Fani.

According to official notification, the examination centres for such candidates will remain the same. However, NTA will shortly release new admit card of NEET Odisha candidates on its website, ntaneet.nic.in so that they can know the revised exam details. Candidates are advised to keep checking NTA website or stay tuned with us in this regard.

NTA NEET 2019 Odisha Centre

Odisha has seven NEET exam centers for the year 2019. The NEET 2019 examination centers are:

  • Angul (3601)
  • Balasore/Baleswar (3602)
  • Behrampur (3603)
  • Bhubaneshwar 3604
  • Cuttack (3605)
  • Rourkela (3606)
  • Sambalpur (3607).

NEET 2019 for Karnataka Candidates

Also, the students from Karnataka who missed their NEET 2019 examination on May 5, 2019, due to the train delay will get another chance to appear for the examination. The Union Human Resource Development Minister, Prakash Javadekar announced the same on May 6, 2019. The examination for these candidates will also be conducted on May 20, 2019. According to the announcement, the examination centres for these candidates will remain the same. However, NTA will shortly release new admit card for these candidates on its website, nta.nic.in, so that they can know the revised exam details.

Candidates are advised to take online tests as many as possible and utilize this time without being discouraged.
