West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) released a notification for the recruitment on the various posts of Constable, Lady Constable, Sub-Inspector/Lady Sub Inspector of Police, and Sub Inspector of Police on its official website i.e. wbpolice.gov.in. Eligibility for WB Police Recruitment 2021

Recruitment in Constable

The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Recruitment in Sub Inspector of Police

The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

Language: Applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language. However, this provision will not be applicable to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts.

Age Limit

Constable: 18 to 27 Years

SI of Police: 20 to 27 years
