Update on: 03 Dec 2021, 03:23 PM

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the second major subject Term-1 exam of class 12th. The English Core (subject code 301) exam was held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The exam was held in a multiple-choice format with no provisions of negative marking.

The exam was held following all the CBSE guidelines. The students needed to carry their admit cards, and take all the safety measures.

According to the reviews of students, the exam was easy but rather lengthy. The writing section was the easiest, while the reading section contributed to the lengthiness of the paper. The paper took a long time to read and understand, says one of the students who took the exam.

A few feedbacks also say that the paper pattern was similar to CBSE’s Sample papers and some of the questions even came from CBSE’s Sample papers.

After reviewing the paper, the teachers said that the paper was solvable but lengthy. It was divided into three sections of a total 60 number of questions, out of which 50 objective questions needed to be attempted.
