NEET Result 2021 and Counselling Details Expected Soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is about to release the NEET-UG 2021 result within this month. The provisional answer key of NEET was released on October 15, and three days were provided to the candidates to raise objections. The final answer key, along with the exam result, will be released on the official website.

How to check the NEET Result 2021

  1. Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the link “NEET Result 2021” is available on the homepage.
  3. A new page will open; Login with application number/roll number, password/date of birth
  4. Check and Download the NEET scorecard for future references

NEET is a national-level entrance exam for aspirants seeking admissions in undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary, nursing and life science courses. With the result declaration, the counselling procedure for admissions in MBBS/BDS etc, will also begin.

Counselling for NEET 2021

NEET 2021counselling dates are yet to be announced. Online counselling would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services for Undergraduate Medical Courses. Information for online counselling would only be available on the MCC website https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/) for Undergraduate Medical Courses.

  1. Counselling for 15% All India Quota seats will be administrated by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (except Jammu & Kashmir)
  2. 100% MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU OPEN
  3. AIIMS Open seats- 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
  4. JIPMER Open (Puducherry/ Karaikal) & Internal seats (Domicile)
  5. AMU Open & Internal seats
  6. 85% Internal quota/domicile seats of DU/ I.P University (VMMC/ ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)
  7. Jamia Open seats- Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia) & Internal seats
  8. 15% All India Quota Seats of ESIC & Insured Persons quota seats
  9. AFMC – The Qualifying Candidates aspiring for Counselling/admission in AFMC, shall also have to register with the MCC of DGHS
  10. State-level counselling will be organized separately by the respective state counselling authorities.

The Procedure of Counselling NEET 2021

  • Firstly, candidates have to register for counselling and fill in their preferences for admission.
  • Seats will be allotted to students according to their merit, category and availability of college seats.
  • Once a seat is allotted, candidates must report to the allotted college within the notified schedule.
