CBSE Class 12 Physics Paper 2020 Analysis

Class 12 Physics board exam was successfully conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 2nd March 2020. The exam was started at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM. The examination was conducted smoothly by CBSE without any undesirable incidents. A complete analysis and review of the CBSE Class 12 Physics paper is given below.

Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme

CBSE Class 12 Physics paper consisted of four sections viz. A, B, C and D which contained 37 questions of total 70 marks that had to be solved within 3 hours of time duration. Section wise detailed pattern of questions are given below:

Scheme of Choices:

All sections were compulsory, and students needed to attempt all the sections. There was no overall choice in the question paper however internal choices were present in some questions in every section. Besides general instructions, separate instructions were provided in some sections and questions.

Feedback of the students

CBSE Class 12 Physics Board Exam made a balanced way for students this year. Students found Class 12 Physics paper quite challenging and came up with many mixed responses. Read the feedback of students over the Physics CBSE Board 2020 Exam:  

  • The paper was a bit lengthy and moderate in difficulty level.
  • There were more numerical and application based questions in the question paper.
  • The paper was tricky as some questions were not asked in direct form, especially in sections B, C and D.

  • All the questions in the paper were asked from the latest CBSE Class 12 Physics syllabus.
