Major Update: CBSE Board Exams 2020 Postponed

After Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) directions the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) postponed all forthcoming board exams for class 10th and Class 12th until March 31, 2020. The decision has been taken in view of the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.

We all know the deadly Coronavirus is spreading very fast across the globe. It entered into the territory of India in Jan 2020. Now, this life threatening virus poisoned the various academic and competitive exams of the country. The government authorities announced the postponement of exams as a precautionary measure for the safety of all the students and teachers.

CBSE officials decided to postpone board exams of classes 10 and 12, being held in examination centers in India and abroad, and scheduled between March 19, 2020 and March 31, 2020.

Moreover, re-examinations for North-East Delhi candidates that were rescheduled due Delhi riots will also be further rescheduled. Board informed that the rescheduled date sheet will be announced post 31st Mar 2020, after re-assessment of the situation.

You may also expect delay in the evaluation process and result announcement. Board has also suspended ongoing evaluation work in various evaluation centers in the country until 31st Mar 2020.

MTG urges students, parents and teachers to stay safe and follow the Government of Indiaโ€™s guidelines so that we can overcome this difficult situation. We also advise students to utilize this time to ace their preparation so that they can pass the exam with flying colors.
