Documents Required at the JEE Main Exam Centre

Engineering students are eagerly waiting for the announcement of JEE Main 2022 exam schedule. The JEE Main 2022 is expected in four sessions: February, March, April, & May, and candidates may participate in all four sessions to improve their scores. Keeping in mind the rise of the new Covid 19 variant, NTA will decide as per the guidelines issued by the centre to ensure the safety of students amid COVID19. Adequate measures and safety protocols are to be imposed without compromising the high standards, sanitation, and fairness in the conduct of the examination. It is a prerequisite for the students to check the complete guideline and documents required at the JEE main exam centre to avoid any trouble in the last minutes of the exam.

Documents required at the JEE main exam centre  

Let’s check the list of Documents Required at JEE Main Exam Centre. Every aspirant must carry the below documents to take the JEE Main 2022 exam.

  1. Admit card – JEE Main 2022 Admit cards will be released at the official website of NTA, and all the candidates are requested to download them from there. The candidates must carry a copy of the JEE Main admit card printed on A4 size paper to the JEE Main examination centre.
  2. Self-Declaration Form – This form is the part of JEE Main hall ticket printed on the first page. It contains a declaration regarding any symptoms of cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat/ runny nose, or body ache in the last 14 days. Every JEE aspirant need to fill this self-declaration form before reaching the exam centre.
  3. Passport size photo – Every candidate needs to carry one passport size photo, and it should be the same as uploaded in the JEE Main exam form. The photograph must be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre during the examination.
  4. Valid Photo ID Proof – A government-approved photo ID card must be carried. Acceptable IDs are (PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card / Ration Card). Make sure that the IDs are original, valid and non-expired.
  5. PwD Certificate– Candidates belonging to the PwD category and claiming relaxation must produce a certificate. The competent authority must issue the certificate.

A candidate must carry all the documents mentioned above to the JEE examination centre to ensure a hassle-free exam. It is high time when a candidate should be ready for the JEE Main exam 2022 from every aspect.

JEE Main Exam Day Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to arrive at the Examination Centre at least 2 hours before the start of the examination.
  • Candidates must bring their admit card, a passport-sized photograph, and photo id-proof.
  • For admission to the examination room/hall, the candidate must show the Admit Card
  • Wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing is a mandate.
  • Do not wear any metallic accessories.
  • Wear simple clothes.
  • If you need to carry a water bottle, it should be transparent.
  • Candidates are not permitted to bring any baggage into the examination centre.
  • Candidates cannot bring any written material, calculators, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches with calculator functions, bits of paper, mobile phones, or other devices.
