The wait for engineering aspirants in the country has been over with the declaration of the JEE Main 2025 session 1 result. Candidates can now check their JEE Main result online on the official website jeemain.nic.in or direct link.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam on Tuesday, February 11, for Engineering (BE/BTech, paper 1). The exam was held from January 22 to 30 at exam centres across the country and abroad. Candidates can view their scorecards on https://examinationservices.nic.in/resultservices/JEEMAIN2025S1P1/Login.

WHAT IS THE 75% ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA?

No matter their age, students who passed the class 12 or equivalent test in 2023, and 2024, or who are currently enrolled in 2025 are eligible to sit for the JEE Main exam. The admission exam is open to applicants who passed the class 12 or equivalent exam in 2021 or earlier, as well as those who will retake the exam in 2025.

How JEE Main Session 1 Scores are Calculated?

NTA Scores are normalized scores across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. The NTA Score of a Candidate has been calculated as follows:

100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate / Total number of candidates who appeared in the ‘Session’

NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The candidate’s particulars including Category and Person with Disability (PwD) have been indicated as mentioned by the candidate in the online Application Form.

After both Sessions of the JEE (Main) – 2025 Examination for Paper 1, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the two NTA Scores in accordance with the policy.

The NTA Scores for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and 2B (B.Planning) for the JEE (Main) – 2025 Session 1 will be issued in the next few days.
