JEE Advanced Exam Date Rescheduled Due to Lok Sabha Elections

Engineering aspirants take a note! IIT Roorkee has rescheduled the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019, as it was clashing with the Lok Sabha election dates. The entrance test will now be held on 27^th May 2019 (Monday) at all examination centers in India and abroad in two shifts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam will be conducted by the IIT Roorkee under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2019.

It was earlier scheduled on 19^th May 2019. As per the recent order by Supreme Court, candidates of 25 years or older can also apply for JEE Advanced 2019. This may be another prominent reason for rescheduling of JEE Advanced 2019.

The notification to all the above-mentioned information can be accessed at the official website of JEE Advanced i.e., jeeadv.ac.in.

Every year, one of the IITs conducts JEE Advanced for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology offering engineering courses. There is a total of 23 IITs in India with approximately 11279 seats. It is the most difficult and popular engineering entrance examination among aspirants.
