According to recent statistics, about 57% of students in schools do not have friends. This is a staggering number that should ring alarm bells for parents and educators alike. Loneliness among students can have far-reaching consequences on their mental health and overall well-being. It can lead to an array of problems such as stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and poor academic performance. Therefore, parents must be proactive in addressing and combating this issue.
