How SOF Olympiads Boost your Child’s Thinking Power

Update on: 16 Jul 2025, 05:02 PM

Famous child psychologist and teacher Haim G. Ginott once said, “Children are like white cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression.” Why did I start the blog with his quote? Well, the quote beautifully encapsulates the learning process that begins even before a child’s birth. The process of thinking and learning in them starts much earlier than we expect. So, why not give this power the right direction from early childhood? In this blog, let’s find out how SOF Olympiads help children boost their thinking power in their own words.

Sanvi Chaturvedi, ICSO Rank 1 in Class 8 – Children gain knowledge during Olympiad preparation that exceeds the learning of the current class. Also, by appearing for competitive exams, students get prior knowledge of advanced classes.

Aditya Kumar, IHO Rank 3 – The concept clarity attained during Olympiad preparation helps in the long run not only academically but for the major competitive exams, such as JEE and NEET in the future.

Karanpreet Singh Chhabra, ICO Rank 2 in Class 11 – Olympiads give you a higher level of thinking and help you realize your true potential.

Aishwarya Vennelakanti, ICO Rank 1 in Class 11 – SOF has helped build cognitive and intellectual skills.

Aura Aggarwal, IEO Rank 1 in Class 4 – SOF Olympiad has very nice and creative questions and MTG books have been a great help.

Kartik Kumar, IEO Rank 2 in Class 12 – Olympiad has been a huge part of my life. Gained a lot of knowledge since grade 3. It has also helped in learning the patterns of other tests and examinations. I have enjoyed a lot throughout the last 10 years.

Meghav Ladani, IMO Rank 1 and NSO Rank 2 in Class 10 – The achievers’ section questions made us think critically which helped in Level 2. I enjoy problem-solving. You are bound to win if you use MTG Prep Guides and understand the concepts and solve questions thoroughly.

Pranith, NSO Rank 3 in Class 6 – SOF helps in winning awards not only in school but on international platforms.

Dhiren A Shetty, NSO Rank 2 in Class 12 – It has been a privilege to write all these exams as they have been giving me great in-depth knowledge of the subject. It has helped me prepare better for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE. Used MTG PYPs and Fingertips for PCB. MTG provides really easy material for understanding subjects in a vast way. They greatly explain every topic.

Deepika Fogawat, NSO Rank 1 in Class 11 – SOF Olympiad has helped improve my scores. Olympiad exams improve the intellectual ability of all the participating students.

Vyush Rao, NSO Rank 1 in Class 3 – I scored 40/40 in NSO. Studied a little bit every day and in my free time used to study a lot of encyclopedias. Some of the encyclopedia knowledge and curriculum matched so I was able to revise a little Olympiad portion every day. I used that knowledge in the Olympiad.

Ayushman Chabri, IGKO Rank 1 in Class 6 – Never be content with the thrust of knowledge and never be satisfied with the results we achieve. I finished podium last year as well. To me, SOF stands for the potential “Scholars of Future” who can groom himself to carve a mark in the national and international arena with the help of out of box learning methods through SOF.

Purv Taparia, IEO Rank 1 – SOF IEO has helped me refine my Grammar skills and learn more vocabulary. Altogether this has helped me push my limits in English. SOF IEO has also helped me fix my problem-solving skills and helped me comprehend paragraphs better. I am very inspired by this achievement that I have made in SOF IEO.

Anshika Sharma, IEO Rank 2 – I scored full marks with the help of MTG PYPs and Prep Guide which have been truly helpful for preparation. Vocabulary is an important part of preparation. It is important to have a wide range of vocabulary not just for IEO but for various other exams It’s important to participate in such competitive exams because it’s a great learning experience. Even if you don’t score much you get to learn a lot of new stuff, time management, and many other skills that may be important in the future.
