The Class 2 Math Olympiad Syllabus is designed to teach children the fundamental concepts of Mathematics in an engaging and effective way. By following this syllabus, students can deepen their understanding of key mathematical concepts and also enhance their problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning skills with the support of the IMO (International Math Olympiad). The syllabus covers four sections, namely Logical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Everyday Mathematics, and Achievers. Why Maths Olympiad for Class 2?

The SOF IMO class 2 Olympiad follows a syllabus that matches what students learn in their schools. The syllabus is made to fit with the school curriculum based on the latest NEP (2020), NCF (2022), NCERT and CBSE guidelines, and National and various State Boards for the convenience of schools and students,. This means students are tested on the important math concepts they study in their regular classes. The Olympiad syllabus is designed in a way that ensures fairness and allows students to apply what they have learned in school during the competition. It helps to evaluate their understanding of fundamental mathematical ideas and problem-solving skills. IMO Syllabus for Class 2 (2024-25)

Syllabus for the Class 2 Maths Olympiad, known as IMO, aligns with the curriculum taught at school. This means that the topics covered in the math Olympiad are similar to what your child learns in their regular math classes. Participating in the IMO allows students to explore the formative aspects of mathematics introduced in class 2.
