
NTA has released the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 admit cards starting 17 January 2026. The initial release covers candidates scheduled to appear on 21, 22, 23 and 24 January 2026, and admit cards for the remaining exam dates are issued subsequently. The admit card is a mandatory requirement for JEE candidates to get entry into the exam hall. Candidates who are successfully registered for the exam shall now be able to download their admit cards from the official website https://nta.ac.in/. using their application number and password/DOB.

Follow these steps to download your admit card:

Important Instructions for the Candidate
- Candidates must follow the reporting time and gate closing time printed on their admit card.
- Candidates should take their seats immediately after the examination hall doors open. Late arrival due to traffic, travel delays, or any other reason may result in missing important instructions. NTA will not be responsible for any delay.
- Entry to the examination hall is permitted only with a printed JEE Main 2026 Admit Card and a valid original photo ID. The test centre staff are authorised to verify candidatesโ identities. Candidates without valid documents will not be allowed to appear for the examination under any circumstances.
- Each candidate will be allotted a seat as per their roll number. Candidates must occupy only their assigned seat. Any attempt to change seats may lead to cancellation of candidature, and no appeal will be entertained.
- Candidates must ensure that the question paper displayed on the computer matches the subject mentioned on the admit card. Any discrepancy should be reported to the Invigilator immediately.
- During the examination, candidates may contact the Invigilator or Centre Superintendent for technical assistance, medical emergencies, or exam-related queries. For CBT-related concerns, candidates may also refer to the helpline details available on the JEE Main website.
- If a candidate appears in more than one shift or date by providing false information, their candidature will be cancelled, and the result will not be declared.
- Candidates who fail to appear on the scheduled examination date will not be provided with a re-test under any circumstances.

Entry Closure: Latecomers will not be allowed entry as per the timing mentioned on the admit card.
