The NEET 2023 question paper was moderate in difficulty level. The Biology section of the paper was a bit lengthy and time taking. However, the pattern was totally uniform as no particular chapter was given extra weightage. More than 50% of questions were directly asked from NCERT textbooks. The paper was easy compared to the NEET 2022. Chemistry was difficult as compared to Physics and Biology. Even though there were a lot of numerals in Physics, the student found the subject relatively easier.
Physics
Usually considered the toughest subject, this year the subject was rated as being easy to moderate by experts even though the paper consisted of about 75% numerical. The whole section was based on NCERT and no questions seemed to be outside of the NCERT syllabi. This came as a happy surprise for exam takers who were happy about the physics section.
Chemistry
This section was comparatively challenging and the inorganic part was more difficult than expected. However, Questions were equally distributed among Inorganic, Organic, and Physical and were entirely based on NCERT though needed an in-depth conceptual understanding to easily attempt the questions.
Biology
According to the experts, Biology is rated as moderate in difficulty.
