Preparation Tips for CBSE Class 10th Term 1 Examination 2021-2022

For the session 2021-22, the CBSE board exams have been divided in Term wise pattern by the Central Board of Secondary Education, amid the Covid cascade. The CBSE Class 10th Exams will be conducted in two terms, with each term covering 50% of the syllabus.

With this new pattern, class 10 CBSE students will attempt the boards for the first time, which will create panic and affect their preparation.

To prepare for the CBSE Board Exam, students should be aware of certain things. It’s essential to have a good study strategy and know-how to approach problems to succeed in the CBSE exams.

  1. Science:ย –ย Science is divided into three subfields, Physics, Chemistry & Biology, each requiring a different study plan as follows:
  • Physicsย โ€“ A solid grasp of the concepts is of utmost importance to answer questions based on theorems and formulas. Practice as many questions are the only way to clear doubt in Physics. Practicing with previous year papers for class 10 and model test papers will help you learn how to apply the concepts you’ve learned.
  • Chemistryย โ€“ Chemistry is a subject based on equations, name reactions, laws so study to solve chemistry questions with speed and accuracy. It is easy to score good marks in Chemistry. Practice questions to check your level of preparation.
  • Biologyย โ€“ Diagrams are important in Biology. Give special attention to diagrams and their related theory. Learn essential terminology by creating notes. Biology needs memorization, so keep revising short notes while studying the chapter. Every day, take a look at all the critical diagrams and their labeling to recall. Try to practice diagrams with proper labeling.

  1. Mathematics: –

ย You can score full marks in Mathematics if you understand how to apply formulas with the related concepts, which will only come with practice. Mathematics is a subject that requires logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Depending on your choice, practice questions related to either Mathematics Standard or Mathematics Basics. It is recommended to solve the question based on a recent pattern designed by CBSE for the Class 10th Term 1 exam. Your aim needs to be about writing 150-200 words spread across 3-4 paragraphs.
