Question Paper Analysis for Mathematics Exam CBSE Class 12 Term 2

The Central Board of Secondary Education has concluded the CBSE Term 2 Class 12 Mathematics exam today (07 June 2022). The exam was held at 6,720 exam centers across the country for two hours (10:30-12:30 pm). The students were expected to reach the exam centers half hour before the commencement of the exam along with the essential stationaries. The students were also advised to follow all the social distancing and Covid-19 preventive measures.

In the mathematics exam, a total of 14 questions were asked in sections A, B, and C for a maximum of 40 marks. Students were given two hours to solve the paper while 15 minutes were provided for the students to read the paper.

The Class 12 Term 2 Mathematics exam paper was “difficult and lengthy– Students

The students outside various CBSE exam centres in the country were seen coming out with mixed reactions. They were of the opinion that the paper was very difficult and lengthy.

“I was expecting a tough paper, but this paper was far beyond my expectations. Now, I only expect to pass”, a student said out of mordacity.

Another student was seen satisfied with her performance in the exam, “although the paper was lengthy and tough, it was in line with the CBSE Sample Papers, and class 12 syllabus”, she said.

The subject experts have concluded the paper as “lengthy and moderate”. “A student with a good grip over the term 2 syllabi would be able to score 80-85% “, one of the teachers said. The paper was based on NCERT and no questions were asked out of the questions.

The CBSE term 2 Mathematics paper received different reactions upon “the level of difficulty”. According to an ongoing poll on MTG’s Twitter handle, 12.1% of the total voters said that the paper was easy, 23% of voters said that the paper was moderate, and 64.9% of voters suggested that the paper was tough. The overall reviews from polls, news, experts, and students stated that the paper was “moderate to tough”.

This was the last CBSE term 2 exam for students of the non-medical stream. Although the class 12 exams are now over, the hustle to get entered into desirable colleges still persists! The Boards are over, but JEE (Main+ Advance) and CUET are still left that will decide your future. To ensure that you do not lose in the final battle! Don’t sit back yet! Take out your JEE Books and CUET Books and start preparing for the final milestone!
