SRMJEEE 2022, the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination, is a university-level entrance examination conducted yearly by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The university conducts the exam for the aspirants seeking admission in different B. Tech courses across the various campuses of SRM University viz. SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli and Delhi – NCR Campus – Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, AP – Andhra Pradesh.

The exam is conducted for 3 phases such as Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3. The application forms for the examination has been released on 15th Nov 2021.

How to Fill the SRMJEEE 2022 Registration Form

Students can fetch the application forms for SRMJEEE UG from the official website. The process of submission includes

  • Registration- Visit the official website and register on the portal by submitting the name, email id and phone number.
  • Verification email: After registration, a verification email has been sent to the candidates, inclusive of login credentials. The Candidate needs to verify the same.
  • Fill the application form: Login with your email id and password and fill the application form.  Upload scanned images: Upload the scanned documents such as photo, signature and class 10th and 12th docx. 
  • Pay the application fee: Submit the fees, which can be done through online mode/ DD drawn in favour of SRMIST

The Registration Fee for the application form is Rs.1200/- and is non-refundable.

If a candidate wishes to attempt the SRMJEEE, then they must pay INR 600 for each phase. For example, if an applicant wishes to take the SRMJEEE entrance exam in all three stages, they must pay a total of Rs. 2400/- (INR 1200+600+600).

English (5 Question): – Questions in this part contain Comprehension type questions in the form of short passages or lines of poems or a dialogue. The candidate should read the given text and answer the set of Questions. Each question has 4 choices, out of which choose the best answer.

SRMJEEE 2022 Marking Scheme

SRMJEEE is an online mode exam that is conducted in the English language in a time duration of 2.5 hours with a total of 125 questions. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and there will be no negative marking.

SRMJEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying to the SRMJEEE, you must make a check that you fit the eligibility criteria. Check the official website for detailed info related to the eligibility of different programmes.

  • Nationality & Age: The candidate may be an Indian citizen or holder of NRI/ PIO/ OCI cards. The age of the candidates must be of 16 years and six months as of the 31st July 2022.
  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have 50% aggregate marks in the required subjects (PCM) and for courses like Biotechnology Biology is mandatory as a subject in the 10+2 examination.
  • Candidates appearing in the final examination of 10+2 in 2022 can also apply for the examination.
