Among a bunch of top entrance tests in India, BITSAT is one of the most followed and discussed tests. BITSAT or Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test opens doors to undergraduate engineering courses (BE). Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani conducts the entrance test every year to offer admissions at its three campuses located in Pilani (Rajasthan), Goa, and Hyderabad. After qualifying for the entrance test, candidates get admission into B.E, along with B.Pharma, and M.Sc programmes. BITSAT 2024 Application form
Candidates willing to appear for BITSAT 2024 can fill out and submit the BITSAT application form until April 16, 2024, for sessions 1 and 2 on the official website of BITSAT – bitsadmission.com. Recently, the last day to fill application form was extended from April 11 to April 16. Candidates willing to fill out the BITSAT application form must register on the official BITSAT website, fill in the required details, upload the required documents, and pay the fee. Candidates have to pay their fee online through PayTM, PayU Money, or ICICI Payment Gateway.
Candidates must check the official eligibility criteria before registering for BITSAT 2024. The registration process for candidates who want to apply for the second session only will start on May 22 and end on June 10. Those candidates who have successfully registered can make corrections in their already submitted details from April 20 to 22 for session 1 and June 11 to 12 for session 2.

BITSAT 2024 Admit Card
After finishing the slot booking process, registered candidates can download the BITSAT 2024 admit card. By means of the BITSAT 2024 results, candidates can check the moderated scores of the BITSAT 2024 exam. Basis the candidate’s preferences, rank, and seat availability, allotment of seats will take place. Those candidates who appear for both sessions 1 and 2, with the best score will be given preference for admission.
BITSAT 2024 Exam Date
BITSAT 2024 exam for Session 1 will be held from May 20 to 24. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to take place from May 19 but it was revised to May 20. However, the exam conducting body will now hold the BITS Higher Degree (HD) on May 19. Apart from this, session 2 of the BITSAT 2024 will take place from June 22 to 26. BITS Pilani will conduct the exams in CBT mode. We suggest candidates keep track of the BITSAT exam date so that they don’t miss any event related to the exam. Successful candidates will be called for the BITSAT counselling 2024.

- What are the eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2024?
Eligibility criteria for Engineering aspirants: The candidates need to clear the class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They need to be proficient in English. They need to have at least aggregate 75 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 60 percent marks in each of the subjects.
Eligibility criteria for Pharma aspirants: Candidates need to clear the class 12th examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students need to be proficient in English. They need to obtain at least aggregate of 75 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with a minimum of 60 percent marks in each of the subjects.
Also, candidates having PCMB in Class 10+2 can also apply for the Pharmacy programme.
- How is the merit list of BITSAT prepared?
The BITS Pilani authority prepares the merit list basis candidate’s obtained scores in the BITSAT. The authority releases the merit list online at bitsadmission.com. The candidates need to note that two individual merit lists are prepared –admit list and the wait list. Those who fulfil the required eligibility and have been selected for admission can find their names in the BITSAT admit list. In the meantime, the wait list of BITSAT will comprise candidates who will be asked for admission only if there are vacant seats available.
- What to do if I am not satisfied with my BITSAT seat allotment?
If candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, they can choose to let go of their seats and stay on the wait list. Those already on the wait list can take part in the next round of BITSAT counselling to explore the chance of being allotted to their choices.
