CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Chemistry Exam 2021: Know the Paper Analysis

The CBSE concluded the Chemistry term 1 exam today, 14th December 2021. The exam was conducted from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, for which the students had to reach the exam centre 30 minutes before the exam.

The CBSE term 1 exam for Chemistry was held following all the CBSE guidelines in an objective manner for 90 minutes. A total of 55 questions were asked, out of which 45 questions were to be attempted for 35 marks.

Like all the other CBSE term 1 exam, students had to attempt the Chemistry exam in OMR sheets. The OMR sheets are to be checked at the exam centre itself.

Significant points of the exam paper-

  1. The paper was a blend of Easy to moderate questions with a few numerical.
  2. Questions were asked from the NCERT textbooks.
  3. The paper was based upon the pattern of CBSE sample papers.
  4. There was no negative marking on the attempt of wrong answers.

Overall, the paper was easy to moderate, and a student who had a good knowledge of NCERT could solve the exam paper quickly.

The next exam major subject exam for class 12th is of Economics. Keeping in mind all the term 1 exams till now, we suggest you prepare from CBSE Based Sample papers.

Once the term 1 exams get over, students shall move forward for the preparation of term-2 exams. To assist your term 2 exam preparation, it is advised that you start solving chapter-wise question banks along with your preparation. This way you can ensure a complete practice in one go.
