COVID-19 pandemic and Nationwide lockdown put an interval on CBSE board examinations 2020. As we know that the board exams for class 10th and 12th got postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
Finally!! CBSE halt the anxious wait of the students, the CBSE class 12th Result 2020 has been announced by the CBSE on its official website i.e. http://cbseresults.nic.in today whether for class 10th the result is yet to announce. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal as well as CBSE Chairman congratulate students for their success in CBSE 12th Results 2020. Initial reports indicate a growth of 5% in the overall pass percentage, which currently stands at 88.78% as compared to 2019’s figure of 83.40%.
According to the data shared by the CBSE Board, girls once again outworked boys by approximately six percent in the CBSE class 12th result 2020. The girls scored 92.15 pass percentage while the boys only managed to be at 86.19 percentage. The CBSE has not announced any merit list this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) website has crashed. Students can also check their results on IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) facility.
For using IVRS facility:
- If you are a local subscriber in Delhi- Then dial- 2430099.
- If you are a subscriber from the other parts of the country- Then dial 011- 24300699.
Students can get the direct link to download the digilocker app through the SMS which they have received from CBSE Board. For those who don’t want to download the DigiLocker on their phones, they can also access the same online on digilocker.gov.in. The SMS also instructs students to use their Roll Number mentioned on their CBSE 10th & 12th Admit Card 2020 as a security pin.

What is DigiLocker App?
DigiLocker is an online service provided by Ministry of Electronics and IT Government of India under its Digital India initiative. DigiLocker provides an account in cloud to every Aadhaar holder to access authentic documents/certificates such as driving license, vehicle registration, academic mark sheet in digital format from the original issuers of these certificates.
Digilocker provides CBSE documents like Marksheet, Migrant Certificates, Passing Certificates to the students. In case students are unable to fetch CBSE digital marksheet, they can write to DigiLocker support at this email ID : support@digitallocker.gov.in
How to get a DigiLocker account?
To create a Digilocker account, first you need to sign in with your credentials. Follow these simple steps to get your own DigiLocker account:
Step 1. Your mobile number will be authenticated by sending an OTP (one-time password) followed by selecting a username & password. This will create your DigiLocker account.
Step 2. After your DigiLocker account is successfully created, you can voluntarily provide your Aadhaar number (issued by UIDAI) to avail additional services.
How to check CBSE 12th Result 2020 through DigiLocker?
Students can download there marksheets by using two ways. In order to download the digital marksheet for class 10th and 12th from DigiLocker can follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website i.e. digilocker.gov.in or download the app on your smartphone.
- Use credentials sent to your registered mobile by CBSE to sign in.
- An OTP would be sent to you to login your DigiLocker Account.
- After entering the OTP, use the last six digits of your Roll number mentioned on CBSE Admit Card as the security pin.
- After successfully logging in, students can go through their digital marksheet.
