In its recently released notice, CBSE has confirmed the conduct of term 2 exams in an offline and subjective mode. The term 2 exams for Class 10th & 12th are scheduled to be held from 26th April, 2022.ย

This year, Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to conduct the board exams for class 10th & 12th into two terms; term 1 & term 2. The term 1 exam was scheduled to be held in an Objective manner in November-December 2021, while the term 2 exams were planned to be conducted in March-April 2022.

As decided, all the pandemic precautions and exam norms were followed in the term 1 exams, and the exams were concluded successfully.

But recently, there have been a lot of speculations regarding the conduct of the term 2 exams for Class 10th & 12th.

Putting an end to all the distracting assumptions regarding mode, pattern and date of the exams, CBSE has now released a notification on 09th February 2022. The notice clearly states that,

  1. The term 2 exams shall be commenced in an offline mode from 26th April 2022.
  2. The pattern of the theory exam shall remain the same as that of the term 2 Sample Question Papers released by CBSE on 14th January 2022, on its official website.
  3. The students will be allotted exam centres in a similar way as it was done in the preceding years.
  4. The Board will release the date sheet for class 10th & 12th exams soon on its official website:ย cbse.nic.in

Now that the exam commencement has been declared by the CBSE Board, students are advised to start their practice and revision for the term 2 exams.

To get a hold of concepts and a habit of answer writing, students are advised to solve plenty ofย term 2 syllabus-based Question Banks.ย To be familiar with the paper pattern, students can take theย CBSE sample papers for 12th Boards & 10th.
