Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Announced in 2022, the CUET exam has positioned itself as an important UG entrance examination in the last couple of years, allowing candidates a common platform for getting enrolled in UG programs in top colleges/universities across India. The National Testing Agency or NTA conducts the exam once a year in over 500 cities in India and abroad. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode. Depending upon the number of candidates registered for the entrance exam, the Common University Entrance Exam is held in multiple phases.

The application process for CUET 2025 will tentatively begin from the last week of Feb 2025 and will continue till the first week of April 2025. Candidates will get three days in the April month for the correction of application form. The city intimation slip will be tentatively available from the first week of April and will continue to exist till the last week of May 2025. The admit card for the CUET 2025 exam will be made available tentatively from the second week of May and will exist till the last week of May. The CUET Exam 2025 will commence tentatively from the third week of May 2025 which will continue till the last week of May.
As far as the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate 2024 examination is concerned, it started on May 15, 2024. The National Testing Agency conducted the CUET UG examination from May 15 to 29. Over 16 lakh students had registered to appear for the CUET 2024 exam. Admit cards, exam timings, and guidelines were released on the official website, i.e. Â exams.nta.ac.in.
Citing unavoidable reasons, the NTA had deferred the examination scheduled for May 15 in the national capital citing “unavoidable reasons.” Then, the examination was held on May 29 and the revised admit cards were released on exams.nta.ac.in. The subjects of Chemistry- 306, Biology- 304, English- 101, and General Test- 501 were postponed for candidates across Delhi.

CUET 2025: Qualifications
A recognized school board’s Class 12 exam must have been passed by candidates. A candidate will not be regarded eligible to apply for CUET 2023 if they failed one or more subjects in their class 12th grade.
As per the notifications, there is no age limit to appear in the CUET UG exam. The candidates need to pass class 12 and also they need to fulfill the age criteria of the respective universities.
