CUET 2022- What is the Syllabus and Exam Pattern of CUET 2022?

CUET Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The NTA has recently changed the name of the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) to Central University Entrance Test (CUET). NTA has declared that a common entrance exam shall be conducted for admission into Undergraduate Courses of various Central Universities in India. The Application window for the exam will be open from April 2, 2022, to April 30, 2022, and the test will be conducted in the first week of July 2022. The exam will be a Computer-based test based on the CUET syllabus. In the CUET 2022 Notification, NTA has briefly suggested the exam pattern and syllabus for CUET 2022. The detailed NTA CUET syllabus and exam pattern of CUET will soon be declared by NTA on its official website. Below is the expected CUET syllabus and exam pattern

The CUET exam will be solely based on the syllabus of Class 12. A student who has covered the class 12 syllabus entirely will be able to clear the exam easily.

CUET Exam Pattern for UG

The exam pattern of CUET 2022 is going to be an Objective type. The test will be a Computer-Based Test. The questions in the test will be facilitated negative marking on the opt of a wrong answer.

The NTA will soon release the final updated CUET exam 2022 Syllabus and CUET sample papers to give an idea of the exam pattern. Till then, the students are advised to read from CUET books and keep a close eye on the latest update of CUET.

a. Is there a negative marking in CUET?

Yes, CUET will have a negative marking upon the attempt of a wrong answer. Further updates on the same shall be available on the official website soon.

b. How to apply for all India entrance test CUET?

The application window for CUET 2022 will be open from April 2, 2022. After that, students can fill out the application form from the official website of CUET.

c. Is the CUET exam tough?

CUET is an entrance exam completely based on the Class 12 syllabus. A student can consider CUET syllabus 2022 to be the same as 12 until NTA updates the final syllabus. Hence, if a student has a clear hold of concepts from class 12, then they can easily pass the CUET exam.

d. What is the cutoff for CUET 2022?

The cutoff for CUET 2022 shall be updated on the official website of NTA after the completion of the conduct of the exam.
