MTG wishes you all a Happy and Prosperous Diwali!

Diwali is celebrated across the country in the wake of conquering good over evil. Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after an exile of 14 years after getting a triumph over Ravana.

The festival is celebrated for five days with extreme joy and happiness, and every day marks a special significance to worship. Let’s know the significance of all five days and the dates on which these are celebrated this year.

  • Dhanteras (18th October 2025):On this very day, God Kuber is worshipped to achieve the blessing of financial goodwill. He is also known as the God of Wealth.
  • Narak Chaturdashi (20th October 2025):The next day to Dhanteras, Narak Chaturdashi is celebrated. This day commemorates the day of victory of Lord Krishna over the demon Narakasura.
  • Lakshmi Puja (20th October 2025):As per the Hindu calendar, the day is celebrated on Kartik Amavasya, and to lighten up the darkness of Amavasya, Diyas are lit at every corner. That’s why we call it Diwali or Deepawali, the chain of Diyas. On this auspicious day, Goddess Lakshmi, along with Lord Ganesh and Goddess Sarasvati, is worshipped.
  • Govardhan Puja (22nd October 2025):Lord Krishna, on this very day, saved the villagers of Vrindavan from the curse of Lord Indra by giving shelter to the villagers under the Govardhan mountain.
  • Bhai Dooj (23rd October 2025): Bhai dooj is celebrated to nurture the bond between brothers and sisters.

This way, the five-day-long festival ends, lightening up and strengthening the candles of hope, relationships, wealth, and wisdom in our lives. While following all the other rituals like worshipping Kuber, Krishna, Ganesh, and Lakshmi people usually forget to worship the most important deity!

The Goddess of wisdom- Goddess Sarasvati is not just the epitome of wisdom but also the epitome of purity, innocence, and arts.

So, this year, let us also pray to Goddess Sarasvati and seek blessings to win from the demons within ourselves and light up the candle of Knowledge. With the aim of providing wisdom to all, MTG offers the best study materials for SOF Olympiads and other exams like NEET & JEE.

To make the occasion of Diwali more exciting, MTG has brought the Diwali DHAMAKA Deals to celebrate the Knowledge Waali Diwali from 14th to 19th October 2025.
