Exam Analysis of Science, CBSE Class 10th Term 1 Board Exam

The class-10th term-1 exam for Science (subject code- 087) has been successfully conducted today- December 2, 2021, from 11:30 am โ€“ 1:00 pm. The exam was held offline in an Objective manner, following all the CBSE guidelines and Pandemic protocols.

Students who took the exam says the paper was overall easy with only a few twisted questions. The paper was solvable within the given time. The exam was overall easier than the Previous paper of Social Science; a student shared his views.

A student who kept their preparation NCERT-centric could have performed well, say the experts.

According to the subject experts, about 30-35 questions were straightforward and were asked directly from the texts. A student could easily score 30 out of 40 marks in the exam.

The exam comprised 60 questions, out of which 50 questions were to be attempted within 90 minutes. Following are some significant points about the paper-

  • The paper was bifurcated into three sections covering various questions such as assertion-reason, case-based questions, fill in the blanks, match the followings, etc.
  • The highest mark for the paper was 40 marks.
  • The questions abided by the format of the Sample paper provided by CBSE.
  • Each question had equal marks with no negative marking in any question.
