BITSAT is an all-India entrance exam for admission to engineering courses offered at the 3 campuses of Birla Institute of Technology and Science namely BITS Pilani, KK Birla Goa, and Hyderabad. BITS Pilani is one of the most renowned engineering colleges in India. Every year around 3 lakh students appear for BITSAT exam with the aim of pursuing an engineering degree in one of the BITS campuses.

Brief About BITSAT 2025

Important Dates: BITSAT exam is conducted every year in the month and May and June and the below table gives you all the important dates of BITSAT 2025 exam:

Exam Pattern: BITSAT 2025 will be held online (CBT). The question paper is divided into four sections, containing 130 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that must be completed in 3 hours.

Each correct answer will be worth 3 marks, while each incorrect attempt will be worth -1 mark. There will be no deduction of marks for questions that are not attempted. The medium of the question paper will be in English only.

Note : In case any candidate answers all the 130 questions (without skipping any one) and also if there is time left, then he or she can attempt 12 extra questions; 4 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

Know how to prepare for BITSAT 2025

BITSAT 2025 exam is nearing, all candidates need to double their preparation level if they wish to score well and avail a seat in any one of the BITS campuses. Since time is less you have to follow some smart tricks & tips given below on how to prepare for BITSAT to ace in the exam:

  • Effective study plan: Make a strategy and devise an ultimate study time table which will cover all the chapters given in the syllabus. Since maximum questions are asked in Mathematics section, you should practice as many questions in this section as you can, followed by Physics and Chemistry.
