KCET 2024 Exam Date & Application Out: Complete Details here!

Karnataka CET 2024 registration window has been opened by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on 10th January 2024. Candidates who are eligible will be able to apply at the official KEA website at kea.kar.nic.in. The registration process deadline is 10th February 2024, while the last day for paying application fees is 14th February 2024.

The admit card will be accessible for all eligible candidates on April 5, 2024, and the entrance test will take place on April 18 and 19, 2024. The Kannada language test is scheduled for April 20, 2024. The outcome will be announced on May 20, 2024. The physical examination for disabled candidates will occur on April 25 and 26, 2024. How to Apply for the KCET 2024 Exam?

To apply online, candidates should adhere to the following instructions.

  • Visit the kea.kar.nic.in.
  • Click on KCET 2024 registration link available on the home page.
  • This will direct you to a new page where you need to complete your registration.
  • After completing your registration, click on the submit button.
  • Login to the account and fill the application form.
  • Make the payment of application fees and click on submit.

Download and save a digital copy of the completed application form for future use. Additionally, it is advisable to keep a printed version of the form as well.

Eligibility Criteria for KCET 2024 Exams

To qualify for KCET 2024, candidates must meet the criteria stated by the Karnataka Examinations Authority published on kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates should review the eligibility criteria before applying, as being found ineligible at any stage will result in cancellation of their application. Below are the KCET 2024 eligibility conditions.

  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Age Limit: There is no specified age limit for KCET eligibility.
  • Subject Requirements: In addition to the compulsory subjects, candidates must have optional subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics, along with a language subject (English).
  • Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in Karnataka or have studied and passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) from an educational institution located in Karnataka. Non-Karnataka candidates may also be eligible under certain categories.
  • Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 or equivalent examination with mandatory subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
