How to attempt AIIMS online exam? – Target AIIMS 2019

The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) is the most prestigious and renowned medical institutes in India. Every year AIIMS conducts a national level entrance test; AIIMS exam for admission in MBBS course in its nine institutes viz. New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Patna, Jodhpur, Guntur, Nagpur, Raipur and Bhubaneshwar. AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam is scheduled on 25th and 26th of May.ย  Lakhs of medical aspirants will be appearing in the test with the dream of pursuing an MBBS degree in one of the institutes of AIIMS. As per the AIIMS 2019 seat reservation criteria, a total of 1207 seats are available this year. Hence, the competition is going to be very tough and candidates cannot afford to make any mistake while attempting the test, which will lead in loosing marks.

As AIIMS MBBS 2019 is a Computer Based Test (CBT), candidates have to take extra care while attempting the AIIMS online exam. In this article, we are providing some important guidelines on how to attempt AIIMS online exam.

Guidelines to attempt 2019 AIIMS online exam:

  1. Read the instructions: The first thing to be followed while attempting AIIMS online exam is to listen to the instructions carefully. Candidates must carefully listen to the invigilatorโ€™s instructions on how to attempt the test.
  2. Start with section: Candidates can select any section to start attempting the test. It is not compulsory to solve the paper in a sequence. However, in each section the questions will come in a sequence on the screen. The sequence of the questions and the subjects will be different for all candidates.
  3. Ask for rough sheets: For rough work, rough sheets will be provided at the examination hall upon asking the invigilator. Do a neat rough work with proper spacing to avoid any confusion. You should submit these rough sheets at the end of the exam.
  4. Use computer calculator: Candidates are not allowed to bring calculators inside the examination hall. For calculations, simple calculator in the pop-up screen will be available for use during the exam.
  5. Save time: While solving difficult questions, try attempting only those questions which you know you can s This will prevent unnecessary wastage of time and efforts. Avoid saving any answer if you are not sure about as it can lead to negative marking.
  6. Save your answer: To answer any question there will be two options- โ€˜Reviewโ€™ & โ€˜Saveโ€™. You have to save the answer by clicking on the โ€˜Saveโ€™ button. If you are not sure about the answer, you can click on the ‘Review‘ option to review the question again after finishing the test. Both saved and reviewed answers marked by you can be seen in the save and review sections respectively, in the right side of your computer screen in different colours.
  7. Solve lengthy questions at once: Avoid marking lengthy questions in the review section for further review. Solve the lengthy questions at once and do not leave them in the middle otherwise you have to solve them again from the beginning wasting a lot of time.
