Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has announced the date for Level-2 exams for IEO, NSO, and IMO. This year, it is going to take place on 9th February 2025. For lower Classes (3-5)

- Garrulous: One who talks a lot mostly about unimportant things
- Fathom: To understand something
- Ephemeral: Lasting or used for only a short period of time
- Discrepancy: A difference between two things that should be the same
- Belligerent: Unfriendly and aggressive
- Adversary: An enemy, or an opponent in a competition
- Tangible: Something or someone that can be clearly seen to exist
- Languish: To be forced to stay somewhere or suffer something unpleasant for a long time
- Nefarious: Criminal, immoral
- Hypocrite: One who believes in something but does opposite to it
- Forlorn: Lonely and unhappy
- Baffling: Something that is extremely confusing or difficult to understand
- Sporadic: Done or happening irregularly

For Middle Classes (6-8)
- Ubiquitous: To be present everywhere or in several places at the same time
- Resilient: Strong enough to deal with illness, shock or change

- Flabbergasted: Extremely surprised or shocked
- Cacophony: A mixture of loud, unpleasant sound
- Didactic: Designed to teach people something, especially a moral lesson
- Aberration: A fact, an action or a way of behaving that is not typical
- Quintessential: Being the perfect example of something
- Salient: Most important or noticeable
- Recalcitrant: Refusing to follow instructions or rules
- Obfuscate: To make something unclear and more difficult to understand
- Monotonous: Never changing and therefore boring
- Languid: Having or showing a disinclination for physical effort.
- Juvenile: Young people who are not yet adults
- Epiphany: A moment of sudden and great revelation or realization
- Grandiose: Bigger or more complicated than necessary
- Cognizant: To be aware of something or have knowledge of something
- Avarice: Extreme desire for money
- Harangue: To speak in a loud and angry way in order to criticise somebody
