NEET Admit Card 2024

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level medical entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH in top medical and dental colleges across the country. The NEET 2024 exam will be held on 5 May 2024. NEET admit card has been released, you can now download it at NTA’s official site.

How To Download NEET 2024 Admit Card?

The candidates who have successfully registered for NEET UG 2024 exam will be able to download their admit card on NTA’s official website at neet.nta.nic.in. You can log in with the help of the Application number and Date of Birth. To download your admit card follow the below steps:

  1. Visit the official website of NEET – https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/
  2. Click on the Download Admit Card Link.
  3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  4. The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and take a printout of the admit card for future use.

NEET 2024 Admit Card Download Via DigiLocker

DigiLocker is a digital platform introduced by the Government of India for storing and sharing electronic documents. Candidates can easily download their admit card from Digilocker by following these simple steps:

  • Visit the official website of DigiLocker- https://digilocker.gov.in/
  • To register on DigiLocker, create an account by entering your mobile number and verifying it with an OTP
  • After login, go to your DigiLocker account, click on the “Issued Documents” section and look for the National Testing Agency (NTA) folder and click on it
  • Click on the link for NEET 2024 Admit Card
  • Enter your NEET UG 2024 application number, date of birth, and security pin
  • Click on the “Submit” button
  • Your NEET UG Admit Card 2024 will appear on the screen
  • Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card and download it
  • Take a printout of the admit card.

NEET Admit Card 2024: Important Instructions

Following instructions should be adhered to carefully-

  • A coloured printout of the NEET 2024 admit card should be carried by the examinee.
  • Affix your passport-size photograph in the space provided in The NEET 2024 admit card. The photo should same as that was submitted in the registration process.
  • Your admit card should be signed by your parents or guardian.

Important instructions printed on the NEET UG Admit Card 2024

On the NEET 2024 admit card you will find general exam instructions for the exam day. Candidates are advised to read these interactions carefully and diligently adhere to them. The important instructions on the NEET 2024 exam admit card are as follows:

  • Candidates should avoid signing on the admit card in advance. Signatures will be taken from the candidates on the admit card in the presence of the invigilators after they provide important instructions.
  • The candidates must arrive at the exam centre on or before the reporting time given in the admit card to avoid any delays.
  • Carefully check the details regarding the allotted exam centre, its address and name to avoid any last-minute confusion.
  • Candidates should visit the exam centre at least a day in advance to avoid wasting time on the day of the exam.
  • The entry to the exam centre will begin at 11.40 am and the last entry into the examination hall will be at 1.30 pm.
  • The ID proof and NEET 2024 admit card of the candidates will be thoroughly checked by the authorities at the examination centre.
  • Candidates should be careful that they do not bring prohibited items with them to the exam centre otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
  • Geometry/ pencil box, calculator, log table, slide ruler, any paper or textual material, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Handbags, purses, wallets, electronic gadgets, calculators, watches, etc are also prohibited inside the examination hall.
  • Students are not allowed to carry any eatables inside the examination hall except for diabetic students, who are allowed to carry fruits/ sugar tablets.
  • NTA has permitted the candidates to carry transparent water bottles inside the exam centre.
  • Candidates have to submit their NEET 2024 admit cards in a box outside of the exam hall after completion of the exam.

Only the candidates who paid the application fee and successfully registered for the NEET 2024 exam will be able to download their admit cards from https://neet.nta.nic.in/ with the help of their user ID and password. If the candidates are found ineligible or there are discrepancies in the application form, their NEET UG 2024 admit cards will not be issued for the NEET 2024 entrance exam. NEET admit card is an important document to be carried by students to the exam centre to get an entry for the examination as it is used by NTA authorities and candidates at various phases of the admission process.

  • I signed the NEET 2024 admit card by mistake. What should I do now?

Candidates have to sign their admit cards in the presence of the invigilator. If you have signed it beforehand then in such case, discard the document and print out a fresh admit card as admit cards can be downloaded multiple times by logging into your account.
